One thing the visit to the Confucious Temple did for me was to settle how Confucious permeated everything about Chinese culture. The lucidity and balance of his thoughts were clearly outlined in the quiet and clean architecture of his temple and its grounds.
Being a great scholar and thinker, it was just appropriate that a few children had drawing pads and were quietly drawing the temple.
In contrast to the more ornate and riotous Baoan temple, the Confucious temple was more graceful and more peaceful.
